Why is an EPC important and what is it used for?
An Energy Performance Certificate shows how energy-efficient a property is, rated from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It's legally required when selling, renting or building a property in the UK. It helps occupants understand running costs.

Do I need to prepare anything before the appointment?
Please ensure assessor has access to all rooms, including the loft if possible and if you've had any home improvements such as solar installation or an extension, please keep documents to hand.
